Dr. Harlan Knight
Dr. Knight attended Birmingham Southern College for his undergraduate degree, where he obtained a dual degree in Biology and Chemistry. After graduation, he worked in microbiological research and decided to continue his education to obtain a doctorate in dentistry from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1991.
Dr. Knight owned his practice in Florence, Alabama for 24 years. In 1996, he was elected by his peers to serve as President of the Tri-County Dental Society. In 2014, Dr. Knight sold his practice and moved to Gulf Shores Alabama with the hopes of slowing down a bit and practicing on a more limited basis. After five years at this pace, he was offered a position as Clinical Director for Marquee Dental Partners, a dental service organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Knight has served as Clinical Director since 2017 and currently manages several offices located in the state of Alabama. During this time he has assisted providers in navigating difficult clinical cases and advised in treatment planning and daily operations.
He has clinical expertise in all disciplines of dentistry including surgical, endodontics, and orthodontics.
